We’re hiring a Gastroenterologist to join our innovative and collegial GI team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role is primarily an outpatient practice with rotation for inpatient procedures and inpatient APC and telehealth support. The group includes 9 general GI physicians, 2 advanced GI physicians, 1 hospitalist, and 18 APPs. Presbyterian Healthcare Services is a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare system of nine hospitals, a statewide health plan and a growing multi-specialty medical group, founded in New Mexico in 1908. It is the state's largest private employer with nearly 14,000 employees.

Requirements

  • Must be BC/BE in Gastroenterology.
  • Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to grow their practice.
  • Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico.
  • M.D./D.O. in clinical practice.
  • Current New Mexico License required.
  • Board eligible or certified in Gastroenterology.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a general Gastroenterology staff physician for PMG Gastroenterology.
  • Primarily outpatient practice with rotation for inpatient procedures and inpatient APC and telehealth support.
  • Collaborate with Interventional Radiology, general surgery, colorectal, thoracic, ICU, and hospitalist teams.
