About The Position
Northwell Health, part of Nuvance Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Gastroenterology Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Danbury, CT. This role involves seeing patients in both outpatient office and hospital settings, with a Monday-Friday workday schedule and weekend rotation. There is no call responsibility. The position is part of the growing Digestive Health Institute and the Northwell Health Medical Practice Gastroenterology Department.
Requirements
- State of CT RN and APRN or PA license
- CT Controlled Substance Registration
- Federal DEA
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- New York State Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with hepatobiliary services
- Board-certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with at least one year of experience in Internal Medicine and/or Gastroenterology
- Internal Medicine or Gastroenterology experience preferred
