About The Position

Bassett Healthcare Network, in central New York, is seeking a full-time Advanced Trained BC/BE Gastroenterologist. This is an opportunity to join an established group of 5 physicians and 3 advanced practice clinicians within the Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region. You will become part of a progressive academic health system and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. The role involves teaching and mentoring residents and medical students, with a strong interest in clinical G.I. and liver disease. The practice utilizes EMR-EPIC.

Requirements

• MD, DO or MBBS
• BC/BE
• Completion of an accredited USA Gastroenterology Fellowship
• New York State Licensure
• BLS Certification Required
• DEA Required

Nice To Haves

• Advanced skills in ERCP and EUS preferable

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated proficiency in standard GI procedures and testing
• Advanced skills in ERCP and EUS preferable
• Educational focus – teach and mentor residents and medical students
• Call guaranteed to be no more frequent than 1:4
