About The Position

This position seeks a qualified Gastroenterology NP or PA for locum tenens support to address the current demands of the practice. Candidates are expected to be well-versed in routine gastroenterology cases. The role involves a combination of inpatient and outpatient services within a clinic setting, collaborating with Gastroenterology MDs and other Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The patient demographic is adults aged 18 and older, with an average patient load of approximately 16 patients per day in the clinic. The initial engagement is approved through October 1, 2026, with potential for extension.

Requirements

• Valid Washington state license at the time of application.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR system.
• Experience with routine gastroenterology cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide gastroenterology care to adult patients aged 18 and older.
• Manage an average of 16 patients per day in the clinic.
• Collaborate with Gastroenterology MDs and other Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
• Provide both inpatient and outpatient services.
• Work within a clinic setting.
• Obtain clinic and hospital privileges.
