Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • National Nurse Practitioner certification (AANP or ANCC) or Physician Assistant certification (NCCPA)
  • Unrestricted Washington State license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior outpatient experience as an Advanced Practice Provider
  • Gastroenterology experience
  • Experience with Epic EMR

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient Gastroenterology care to an established patient population
  • Collaboratively manage a panel of new and established patients
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of GI conditions
  • Work closely with Gastroenterologists and fellow Advanced Practice Providers in a team-based care model
  • Practice in an outpatient-only setting with no inpatient responsibilities, procedures, or call
  • Once fully ramped, providers typically see approximately 14–16 patients per day.
