About The Position

As a Physician in Gastroenterology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will be a part of an employed Medical Group Gastroenterology practice serving Utah County. We have a strong community need for increased access to GI and Endoscopy care in Utah County, and we have a team-based GI practice model with physician, APP, and nurse teamwork across our clinic and endoscopy locations. We will help support you in building your GI practice. This position includes a starting base salary of $620,000/annually with production incentives, a $50,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 relocation assistance based on distance; student loan repayment and a $1,500 monthly training stipend and future AEC opportunities are also available. You will practice at our Utah Valley Hospital location. Call schedule is shared with group and expected at minimum of 1:5 w/ additional call pay for extra call shifts and opportunity for a (4) day work week. You will have the opportunity to teach medical students, residents and will lead in developing new academic programs. Leadership opportunities will also be available.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • Residency training in Internal Medicine
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Gastroenterology
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

Nice To Haves

  • ERCP is welcomed but not required for this position
  • Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
