About The Position

We are seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our team in Mountain Home, AR. This is a permanent, full-time position with a service setting that includes both outpatient and inpatient care. The role involves clinical duties from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, and a call schedule requiring 10 days of call per month, including weekends (1:4). The position offers the opportunity to build a new specialty service line with a supportive infrastructure and mentorship from experienced GI physicians. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal and digestive disorders, perform endoscopic procedures, provide inpatient consultations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, and a full clinic support team is available.

Requirements

Arkansas medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Strong interest in building a new specialty service line
Excellent communication and collaborative skills

Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal and digestive disorders in clinic and hospital settings
Perform endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, and other diagnostic and therapeutic GI interventions
Provide inpatient consultations and participate in a shared call schedule
Collaborate with experienced Gastroenterologists, certified GI nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
Utilize advanced endoscopy equipment and technology to provide high-quality GI services
Support the growth and development of the Gastroenterology service line while maintaining excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction
