About The Position

Join Gastro Health in Pembroke Pines for a new hybrid GI role combining the variety of inpatient care with continuity of care in clinic. This role involves splitting time between a 486-bed community hospital and an established private practice. The schedule includes 12 working days in each 21-day rotation, with hospital weeks involving seven days of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. shifts and night call shared among the GI team. Clinic weeks consist of five days, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with opportunities to perform procedures at an ASC recognized among U.S. News & World Report’s Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Physicians receive one full week off every three weeks, totaling approximately 17 scheduled weeks off annually. This position offers the chance to join an established private practice with a favorable payer mix and the opportunity to help expand the inpatient team, including the potential to add an advanced practice provider (APP) for hospital support.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• MD or DO degree.
• Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Strong clinical skills in gastroenterology.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
