About The Position

The position requires rounding on GI patients and managing general gastroenterology cases, collaborating with hospitalists for first call.
Requirements
- Active MA license
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- DEA Required
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience
Responsibilities
- Perform upper and lower endoscopic procedures including colonoscopies
- Provide weekend call coverage (approximately 1 weekend every 5 weeks)
- Round on GI patients
- Manage bread-and-butter GI cases
- Collaborate with hospitalist for first call
