About The Position
Mayo Clinic in Florida is seeking an academic Gastroenterologist to join their growing practice in Jacksonville. This role offers a unique opportunity to help build and advance a comprehensive program focused on the management of MCED (multi-cancer early detection test), management of chemotherapy related complications (e.g. ICI-GI complications), and delivering exceptional, patient-centered care across the full spectrum of gastrointestinal disease. Requirements
- Board certification/eligibility in Gastroenterology.
- Ability to obtain Florida State Medical Licensure.
- Non-interventional endoscopist.
Responsibilities
- Focus on early cancer detection and care.
- Expertise in gastroenterology with a particular emphasis on early cancer detection and interception.
- Management of pre-cancerous conditions (e.g. Barrett's esophagus, pancreatic cystic neoplasia, and/or atrophic gastritis/intestinal metaplasia).
- Management of MCED (multi-cancer early detection test).
- Management of chemotherapy related complications (e.g. ICI-GI complications).
- Delivering exceptional, patient-centered care across the full spectrum of gastrointestinal disease.
