About The Position

Mayo Clinic in Florida is seeking an academic Gastroenterologist to join their growing practice in Jacksonville. The ideal candidate will have expertise in gastroenterology with a particular emphasis on early cancer detection and interception, management of pre-cancerous conditions (e.g., Barrett's esophagus, pancreatic cystic neoplasia, and/or atrophic gastritis/intestinal metaplasia). This role offers a unique opportunity to help build and advance a comprehensive program focused on the management of MCED (multi-cancer early detection test), management of chemotherapy related complications (e.g., ICI-GI complications), and delivering exceptional, patient-centered care across the full spectrum of gastrointestinal disease. Thousands of diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures are performed annually using state-of-the-art technology. The academic environment is supported by a robust research and education enterprise, offering outstanding opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and professional development within a nationally recognized multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Non-interventional endoscopist
