About The Position

Leon Medical Centers is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to join our growing, physician-led, multispecialty practice in Miami, Florida. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who values outpatient-focused care, predictable scheduling, and long-term stability while serving a diverse and highly engaged patient population. This is a full-time employed position with a Monday-Friday schedule, focusing on outpatient gastroenterology. The role involves the evaluation and management of common gastrointestinal and liver conditions within a collaborative care model alongside primary care and specialty providers in a modern clinic environment designed for physician efficiency.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship program
• Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Florida
• Demonstrated clinical competence in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal disorders in an outpatient setting
• Fluency in both English and Spanish (required) to effectively serve our patient population
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to patient-centered care
• Commitment to ethical practice, quality improvement, and collaborative, team-based medicine consistent with professional gastroenterology standards

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a high-volume outpatient or multispecialty environment
• Interest in managing chronic GI conditions within an integrated care model
• Experience caring for Medicare or value-based care populations
