About The Position
University Hospitals Digestive Health Institute is seeking a general gastroenterologist to provide digestive disease care to the community across the continuum. The position includes inpatient consultations, urgent and elective general endoscopy, ambulatory office hours, and coverage at UH Conneaut Center. The role is based at UH Geneva Medical Center in Geneva, Ohio. The medical center serves Geneva and nearby communities with services including internal medicine, emergency care, heart and vascular care, and diagnostic imaging. Its medical team includes specialists in cardiology, urology, women’s health, and other fields. The Digestive Health Institute brings together gastroenterologists, hepatologists, surgeons, nurses, dietitians, and other providers. Teams collaborate on personalized care, from preventive screening and wellness to complex conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease and gastrointestinal cancers. Compensation is highly competitive, productivity incentives are available, and physicians have an opportunity to invest in the Endoscopy Joint Venture Program.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist.
- Active Ohio medical license in good standing upon the effective date of employment.
