About The Position

Mayo Clinic Health System is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join their multi-specialty practice in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. This role focuses on quality, outcomes, and compassion, with opportunities for collaboration with the Division of Gastroenterology at Mayo Clinic-Rochester, MN, potentially involving clinical, consultative, research, and teaching activities. The practice is integrated with advanced technology, including telehealth, digital technology, and artificial intelligence, to support innovative care models and enhance patient and staff experience. The selected candidate will join an established group of up to 12 Gastroenterologists and 9 Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in a physician-led, stable organization committed to high-quality patient care. Visa assistance is available. The practice will primarily focus on General Gastroenterology but is open to candidates with sub-specialty interests in motility, hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease, and pancreas. Strong collaborative relationships exist with surgical, cancer, and radiology specialties within the region and across Mayo Clinic.

Requirements

Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist.
Ability to obtain Wisconsin medical license.
Completion of an ACGME accredited Gastroenterology fellowship program.

Responsibilities

Provide General Gastroenterology care.
Support additional areas of sub-specialty interest including motility, hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease, and pancreas.
Provide Gastroenterology Endoscopy and Clinic practice.
Provide hospital consultative service with a well-established hospitalist program.
Collaborate with gastroenterologists at Mayo Clinic across practices in Rochester, Western Wisconsin, and Southern Minnesota.
