About The Position

The GI Joint Venture Nurse is a vital member of our specialized gastroenterology team, responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered nursing care throughout the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases of GI endoscopy procedures. This role operates within a dynamic joint venture setting, which often combines the resources and expertise of a healthcare system with the efficiency and focus of a private practice. The successful candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction. This position would require Preop Post Op and in the Procedure room assisting the doctor during procedures. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes. Requirements

  • Registered Nurse: AR, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 12 months
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of recent clinical nursing experience
  • At least 1-2 years of direct experience in a GI Endoscopy Unit, PACU, Critical Care, or Emergency Department setting.
