Inframark is seeking a Gas Technician or Technician in Training to help operate and maintain the municipal natural gas system in Tifton, GA. This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in HVAC, plumbing, utilities, construction, mechanical systems, or customer service who enjoy working outdoors and solving problems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Mechanical, utility, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical experience preferred.
• Utility locating experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills and a commitment to safety.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, utilities, construction, mechanical systems, or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark natural gas lines.
• Perform leak checks and basic system inspections.
• Assist with gas service installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Read meters and support service turn-ons and shut-offs.
• Complete maintenance records and service documentation.
• Support traffic control, site maintenance, and safety initiatives.
