About The Position

Responsible for the daily operation of the gas station. The role includes performing opening and closing procedures; monitoring and maintaining equipment; assisting members with gas station transactions and payments; and complying with safety, environmental, and security standards. The position also involves providing member service, handling cash and reporting procedures, supporting fuel deliveries, maintaining cleanliness, and carrying out club policies and procedures. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service and promptly assist members as needed.
• Help ensure the safety of people, property, and the environment while assisting with gas station transactions.
• Monitor gas station sales transactions and handle cash transactions when applicable.
• Maintain restroom cleanliness and perform custodial duties as needed.
• Monitor gas station reporting, ensure reports are generated, and complete gas station checklist procedures.
• Document and address identified issues.
• Accurately perform opening and closing procedures.
• Regularly monitor and maintain gas station equipment.
• Oversee fuel deliveries and perform required preparation procedures.
• Follow gas station safety, security, and environmental standards; inform management and the help desk when alarms are present.
• Perform cash drawer procedures, including cash deposits, verification, documentation, and control procedures.
• Conduct daily competitive price surveys and ensure posted gas prices and club signage match POS pricing.
• Follow spill bucket and spilled-material procedures, including immediate response and cleanup.
• Log visitors and verify proper ID before allowing anyone into the kiosk area.
• Notify the corporate office about non-routine maintenance vendor visits, including visits by weights and measures personnel, inspectors, and state employees.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Carry out assigned job functions and support club policies, procedures, and compliance.
• Act with honesty and integrity, address or escalate concerns, and help maintain a safe, positive, inclusive environment.
• Work collaboratively to achieve goals, deliver service excellence, and uphold daily GOLD member and club standards.
• Access and read department production or financial performance reporting and understand its connection to business results.
