About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager is primarily responsible for the overall support of Store Manager duties, including inventory, ordering, scheduling and oversight of frontline team members. Our store is open 24/7 and our store managers are expected to be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD)
  • 2 years supervisory experience in a high-volume retail/food store environment
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
  • Must be able to understand and consistently deliver brand standards
  • Strong cash handling and reconciliation experience
  • Must possess effective oral and written skills and be able to communicate clearly in English
  • Must have intermediate computer knowledge
  • Must be customer focused and possess strong leadership skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment
  • Must possess strong communication and decision-making skills
  • Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
  • Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes superior guest service

  • Provide managerial support in the areas of inventory, ordering, scheduling and oversight of team member day-to-day activities
  • Player Point Management
  • Create and submit daily store reports
  • Reconcile and prepare bank deposits
  • Maintain maintenance records and reporting any issues to maintenance department.
  • Assist with planning and preparing employee work schedules
  • Control cash handling
  • Control merchandise and fuel inventories
  • Evaluate, counsel, and discipline employees as needed in partnership with Human Resources.
  • Maintain safety procedures
  • Maintain a sharp focus on delivering excellent customer service and addressing customer concerns.
  • Comply with all laws, rules, regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain site appearance standards
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Performs other duties as assigned
