About The Position

The Gas Station Clerk is an entry-level team member role at a Meijer Express Gas Station and Convenience Store. The position supports store operations by stocking shelves with food and grocery products, keeping assigned areas organized, and helping ensure customers have an exceptional shopping experience. The role also involves customer service, merchandising, and other retail tasks as needed. The posting states that days are flexible, but employees must be available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and must be available to be scheduled until 10:00 p.m. The detailed duties also describe overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead. Hiring is immediate, with a starting rate of at least $14.50 per hour, based on experience and the Union Pay Scale.

Requirements

Be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and be available for scheduling until 10:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
Move products from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
Work with leadership to complete assigned areas on time.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Provide friendly and respectful customer interactions when needed.
Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
