About The Position

Heath Consultants Incorporated is seeking individuals for an exciting, outdoor adventure as a Gas Leak Survey Technician. Since 1933, Heath Consultants has been a leader in providing services and equipment to the natural gas and utility industry. This role involves inspecting natural gas systems, conducting leak surveys, and ensuring environmental safety and regulatory compliance. The position is physically demanding, requiring work in various weather conditions, and involves operating specialized equipment to detect gas leaks. The technician will also be responsible for completing reports, communicating with homeowners, and adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to work in any weather.
• Physical ability to walk approximately 4-7 miles and lift up to 25lbs.
• Must pass a DOT drug screen and background check due to DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect natural gas systems and conduct leak surveys to protect life, limb, and property.
• Ensure compliance with federal and local regulations.
• Detect gas leaks using specialized equipment.
• Complete reports and communicate findings.

• Follow safety protocols.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions, involving walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
