About The Position

Heath Consultants Incorporated, established in 1933, provides services and equipment to the natural gas and utility industry. This position is for a Gas Leak Survey Technician, offering an exciting, outdoor role with paid training and no prior experience required. The primary responsibility is to inspect natural gas systems and conduct leak surveys to protect life, property, and support environmental safety, ensuring compliance with federal and local regulations. The role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, detecting leaks, completing reports, communicating with homeowners, and operating specialized equipment.

Requirements

• Enjoy working outdoors in any weather
• Ability to walk approximately 4 - 7 miles
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Passed DOT drug screen
• Passed background check

Responsibilities

• Inspect natural gas systems and conduct leak surveys
• Support environmental safety and ensure compliance with federal and local regulations
• Detect leaks
