This role supports the safe, reliable operation and maintenance of a combined cycle generation facility. The Training Technician is responsible for learning and performing equipment start-up, shutdown, monitoring, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and routine maintenance across plant systems, including combustion turbines, steam turbine auxiliaries, water treatment systems, substation equipment, and balance-of-plant equipment. The position requires a strong safety focus, mechanical and electrical aptitude, the ability to follow procedures such as Lock-Out-Tag-Out, and the flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and respond to planned or unplanned site events. This is a hands-on role for someone who can work independently and as part of a team while building the technical knowledge needed to support plant operations. Location: Anderson County Combined Cycle Plant staff will be located at W. S. Lee Combined Cycle until the Anderson County facilities are available in 2029
