You’ll troubleshoot and oversee repairs on a wide range of Caterpillar gas and diesel engines—both in the shop and out in the field—leveraging your technical knowledge to build trust, solve challenges, and deliver the reliability our customers depend on.

Requirements

Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification (Millwright and Automotive also accepted)
Valid class 5 driver’s license with a successful drivers abstract required for field positions
Minimum 2 years experience as a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic
Previous CAT general line experience including troubleshooting skills and a good understanding of CAT engine and powertrain components
2 years experience on gas engines and compressors
2 years experience operating a service truck
Completion, or in the process of completing Finning S-level courses
Team player will have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills
