About The Position

This is a Part Time Gas Bar Attendant position within the Gas Bar/Convenience Store department at Southland Co-operative Ltd. in Assiniboia, SK. The role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining the store's appearance, dispensing fuel, operating the point of sale system, and adhering to company policies.

Requirements

Able to work a variety of shifts.
Strong computer skills.
A pleasant and out-going personality.
A desire and ability to work with the public.
Physically able to do heavy lifting.
Able to work outdoors.
Successfully pass pre-employment testing as per Southland’s Alcohol & Substance Policy.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by assisting customers, offering information and product knowledge, and being dependable for all scheduled shifts.
Perform interior and exterior housekeeping duties.
Assist in ordering, receiving, and displaying product as set by the guidelines of the C-Store Manager when Clerk II is absent.
Perform opening and closing procedures as directed by the manager.
Maintain C-Store price files.
Dispense gasoline, diesel fuel, and propane.
Clean, fill, and maintain all machines (e.g., slush, hot dog, coffee).
Provide a neat, clean, and well-merchandised front end at all times.
Operate point of sale terminal.
Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
Be responsible in the area of loss prevention.
Assist in daily environmental checks when Clerk II is absent.
Be familiar with and adhere to Southland Co-op policies and procedures.
