About The Position

The Garment Technician will be responsible for delivering, unloading, and organizing garments to their correct areas. This role involves performing various tasks within a warehouse environment, including staging, delivery, and removal of garments and bags. The position requires adherence to safety rules, policies, and procedures, as well as the ability to work both individually and as part of a team.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
No education requirement.
6 months to 1-year experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Completed all safety and task training certification.

Nice To Haves

A valid driver's license may be required for this position based on business needs.
Employees required to drive as part of their job duties must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
May be required to be forklift certified.

Responsibilities

Deliver, unload, and organize garments to their correct areas.
Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
Stop at risk behavior of others and self.
Perform work assignments individually or in a team with other employees as required.
Perform repetitive tasks.
Maintain clean work area.
Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules.
Take direction and respond to supervision.
Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
Fill in during staff shortage.
Breakdown of Prudential Tall Boys in B13 Warehouse.
Stage Industrial garments in B13 Warehouse for delivery by drop zone and size.
Deliver clean Industrial garments to drop zones throughout campus.
Remove soiled bags from drop zones throughout campus.
Return soiled bags to B13.
