About The Position
This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and care of landscaping and grounds. The Gardener I will work in the Mesquite/Moapa area and is a 12-month position with 8-hour workdays.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Nevada Driver's License.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment.
- Knowledge of basic horticultural practices.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Nice To Haves
- Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience.
- Experience with irrigation systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks.
- Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment.
- Plant, water, fertilize, and prune trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Mow lawns, edge walkways, and control weeds.
- Assist with irrigation system maintenance and repair.
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of assigned areas.
- Follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
