About The Position
Are you ready to blossom in a fun, fast-paced environment this spring? Join our team at Spikes and Houles in Forest Lake as we gear up for the vibrant season ahead! We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who loves plants, enjoys working with people, and is ready to help bring the beauty of spring to life. This is a seasonal position from immediately through October, weather dependent.
Requirements
- A plant enthusiast with a passion for gardening (or eager to learn!)
- Energetic and ready to embrace the busy season with a positive attitude
- Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working in MN weather conditions
- Flexible availability to work weekday evenings and weekends as needed
Responsibilities
- Tend to our beautiful plants by watering, deadheading, and ensuring they thrive in our greenhouse.
- Keep our Garden Center shed fresh and appealing by expertly organizing and displaying our plants, products, and seasonal treasures.
- Share your love for gardening by helping customers pick the perfect plants and offering tips to help their gardens grow.
- Provide excellent service at the register and help customers with their purchases with a smile!
