About The Position
Fiddler's Elbow is seeking a passionate Garde Manger to join their team. This role involves assisting the Sous Chef and Executive Chef with daily tasks, focusing on the preparation and service of 'cold-side' plates. Fiddler's Elbow is an exclusive club offering extensive golf, sports, and dining facilities, known for its elegant clubhouse and commitment to enhancing the lives of its members and staff. The club hosts a variety of events, from large festivals and member parties to private functions like weddings and celebrations of life.

Nice To Haves
- Culinary Arts degree and/or 2 years' related experience
Responsibilities
- Prepare appetizers, salads, garnishes, fresh vegetables & desserts for both lunch and dinner service
- Prepare all salad dressings and other cold sauces
- Prepare hors d’oeuvres and all cold stations needed for weddings
- Prepare food in accordance to Club recipes
- Maintain a cleanly work area
- Stay current on OSHA regulations and chemical handling procedures
- Ensure proper storage of leftover products for future use
- Maintain professional appearance and proper cleanliness standards
- Advise Executive and Sous Chef in the event of food and/or equipment shortages
- Assist in preparation of food for all staff
- Remain current on HACCP regulations and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
