About The Position

As a Garde-Manger/Expo, you play a key dual role in bringing the Din Tai Fung experience to life behind the scenes. You will prepare beverages at the Boba station, plate appetizer items at the side station, and carefully pack takeout orders at the Packing Station, following established recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The role emphasizes precision, consistency, and teamwork. You will keep all three stations clean, organized, and fully stocked, taking inventory and restocking as needed to help service flow smoothly. The position is located at Din Tai Fung’s Manhattan - Paramount Plaza location at 1633 Broadway, New York, NY 10019. The pay rate is $22.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to provide documentation confirming legal authorization to work in the United States. Responsibilities

Prepare all beverages at the Boba station in accordance with established recipes and SOPs.
Plate appetizer items at the side station in accordance with established recipes and SOPs.
Pack takeout orders carefully at the Packing Station.
Keep the Boba, side, and Packing stations clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Take inventory and restock as needed to support smooth service.
Perform other job-related duties assigned by a supervisor.
