We’re looking for a Garage Renewal Underwriter to join our team. In this role, you’ll specialize in underwriting garage lines insurance, helping businesses in the automotive industry stay protected. You’ll evaluate insurance applications for property and casualty coverage, ensuring fair and accurate decisions. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
• Detail oriented; strong analytical skills and good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess insurance applications for garage lines, including risks related to auto repair shops, dealerships, and service garages.
• Evaluate property value, location, usage, safety features, and other key details to determine whether to accept, modify, or decline risks.
• Work closely with field teams to gather information and support your underwriting decisions.
• Assist senior underwriters in managing accounts and delivering excellent service to clients in the automotive industry.
