About The Position

Elite Overhead Garage Doors is hiring an experienced Garage Door Technician to install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial garage doors and openers. The technician will represent the company to customers, provide professional service, document completed work, and ensure work meets safety codes, manufacturer standards, and company expectations. The role involves working independently in the field as well as coordinating with the team. The posting lists a potential commissioned compensation range of $60,000–$80,000 USD; these amounts are not guaranteed and are not a salary offer. The company conducts pre-employment background checks, drug screenings, and motor vehicle record checks.

Requirements

At least 3 years of garage door installation and repair experience.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift 75+ pounds, climb ladders, and use standard hand and power tools.
Solid mechanical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Organized, dependable, and able to work efficiently independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial garage doors and openers.
Provide professional customer service and communicate clearly with customers.
Document work performed using notes, diagrams, and photos for internal records and team coordination.
Ensure work meets safety codes, manufacturer standards, and company expectations.
