About The Position

Red Mountain Garage Doors is expanding its Birmingham team and hiring Garage Door Technicians. Experienced technicians can earn $60,000–$80,000+ annually. We are also willing to train mechanically inclined individuals with strong customer service skills through our apprentice program. The company proudly serves homeowners and businesses throughout the Birmingham area and is known for quality workmanship, integrity, and taking care of both customers and employees.

Requirements

• Garage door installation or service experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work on ladders
• Dependable, professional, and self-motivated
• High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Mechanically inclined candidates with strong work ethic, construction experience, automotive repair experience, maintenance backgrounds, or other hands-on technical skills (for apprentice program)

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and commercial garage doors and openers
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Deliver outstanding customer service
• Document completed work with notes and photos
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites
• Recommend additional services and upgrades when appropriate
