About The Position
Elite Overhead Garage Doors is looking for hardworking, dependable people who take pride in doing quality work and treating customers right to join their trusted, family-owned garage door company. They have proudly served Buford and the surrounding communities since 2003. As the company continues to grow, new opportunities open up regularly across their residential and commercial operations. They are looking for a Garage Door Technician Apprentice to join their Buford-based team. This is a hands-on opportunity with plenty of variety, growth potential, and a supportive crew.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with clean MVR
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs, use hand tools, and safely work on ladders
- Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence with technical problem solving
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must undergo pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings, as well as a Motor Vehicle Record Check.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot issues, solve problems on the spot, and ensure seamless job completion
- Keep a clean and organized workspace in customer homes and on job sites
- Accurately document work through notes, photos, and digital work orders
- Proactively identify opportunities to recommend upgrades or additional services
- Educate customers on the benefits of our products and services to drive sales
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective communication and relationship-building
- Contribute to a professional, respectful, and team-first environment
