About The Position
An established garage door company in the Bay Area is seeking an experienced Garage Door Service & Sales Technician. The role involves independently diagnosing and repairing residential garage doors and opener systems, working directly with homeowners, and recommending suitable service or replacement options. Technicians manage daily appointments, provide estimates, explain pricing and service options, and document completed work accurately. Compensation is $75,000–$85,000 in base pay, plus performance bonuses, with opportunities to grow and increase earnings through service and sales performance.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience servicing, repairing, or installing garage doors.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Comfort communicating with homeowners and recommending solutions.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls.
- Valid driver's license.
- Professional, dependable attitude.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential garage doors and opener systems.
- Work with springs, cables, tracks, rollers, motors, and other garage door components.
