About The Position

Spilker Pacific LLC is hiring a full-time, hourly Garage Door Installer in Spokane, Washington. The installer leads and trains new installers, prepares materials and equipment for assigned jobs, and drives to commercial and residential job sites. The position installs garage doors and openers to company and manufacturer standards, checks and corrects work, maintains job-site cleanliness, tracks materials and time, and submits daily paperwork. The installer must follow company and governmental safety rules and report and correct hazardous conditions. Other duties may be assigned. Applicants with at least two years of garage door experience may be eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus; applicants should apply for details.

Requirements

A valid Washington driver's license and a good driving record.
Ability to lift in excess of 75 pounds.
Regular attendance.
Must pass a drug test, background check, and driving-record check.

Nice To Haves

At least two years of experience installing garage doors on commercial or residential projects is preferred.
Applicants with at least two years of garage door experience may be eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus; apply for details.

Responsibilities

Lead and train new installers.
Ensure the truck has sufficient and appropriate materials and equipment for assigned jobs.
Drive to and from commercial and residential job sites and unload garage door materials.
Clean the job site daily after work is completed.
Install doors and openers in accordance with company and manufacturer standards.
Check work for errors and correct them when necessary.
Account for materials and time used on each job and submit paperwork daily.
Follow company and governmental safety rules and ensure hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
Perform other duties as assigned.
