About The Position

The Gang Operator works at a sawmill in Graham, North Carolina, rotating through various tasks within an assigned workspace on an hourly basis. This permanent, full-time role operates Monday through Friday and involves safely operating industrial machinery as part of a team working toward production goals. The operator helps maintain product quality, inspects machinery for wear, damage, or malfunction, reports findings to supervisors and maintenance for preventive action, and participates in quality improvement initiatives. Hourly wages and bonus opportunities vary based on position and shift.

Requirements

• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks for extended periods, including piling lumber, standing for long hours, walking, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around environmental elements, moving mechanical equipment, loud noise, and dust.
• Excellent teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers.
• High degree of urgency and attention to detail.
• Desire to learn, grow, and succeed.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of the lumber manufacturing process.
