About The Position

The Gaming Technician is responsible for maintaining and servicing all gaming tables, furniture, and table game machines to ensure smooth and efficient operation. This role includes inspecting gaming installations, managing the inventory of tools and supplies, and keeping accurate records of service maintenance. The technician also supports the gaming floor by stocking pit podiums with supplies, cleaning, and replacing shufflers. Flexibility and attention to detail are key, as additional duties may be assigned to maintain seamless and engaging operations. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and customer service skills, with a solid understanding of casino policies, gaming regulations, and internal controls. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software is essential, along with excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively. Critical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot using hand and power tools are key, as well as maintaining meticulous records. This role requires professionalism, confidentiality, and adaptability, whether working independently or as part of a team, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Associate's degree in electronics engineering, a related field or an electronics technical training program certification
  • One year of electronics troubleshooting experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Solid understanding of casino policies, gaming regulations, and internal controls
  • Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen
  • Ability to obtain a Class IIIA license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission
