About The Position

The Gaming Technician, reporting to the Gaming Technical Manager, is responsible for the comprehensive management of slot machines and other gaming assets. This includes installation, relocation, removal, configuration, repair, and maintenance. The role ensures all work is performed accurately and appropriately. Additionally, the Gaming Technician will handle repairs and maintenance for card shufflers, chippers, table game signage, sensors, and other related products.

Requirements

  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, various shifts, and overtime as needed.
  • Working knowledge of electronic circuitry or mechanical aptitude.
  • Understanding of slot machine functionality and play matrix.
  • Experience repairing table games equipment such as card shufflers, chippers, signage, and reader boards.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting documents such as policy manuals, maintenance instructions, and related materials.
  • Knowledge and experience with cabling and networking.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to safely use tools and power equipment.
  • Effective communication skills to respond to inquiries from employees or guests.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the slot gaming technical field.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to obtain the following: Nevada Gaming Registration

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Konami’s Synkros system preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and servicing of casino assets which are not limited but can include: machine lights, bill validators, monitors, TITO printers, filters, other moving parts, signage, player tracking, chippers, shufflers, sensors, table layouts, and other machine peripherals.
  • Performs the installation, relocation, removal, and game conversion of slot machines in accordance with regulatory compliance, approved policies, and internal controls.
  • Verifying all machine configurations are accurate and match supporting documentation.
  • Works with other casino personnel to perform guest service recovery, payment of jackpots, and fix machine malfunctions.
  • Delivers and maintains a high degree of guest service.
  • Maintain appearance and cleanliness of all machines.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.
