Responsible for monitoring the performance of electronic gaming devices, activity, and conditions of gaming areas, ensuring all HHR machines are operable and in good repair. This role involves repairing and modifying components, electric systems, and peripherals of gaming machines and kiosks, as well as maintaining their electronic components and systems. The Gaming Technician ensures compliance with approved procedures for HHR areas, configures machines to meet specifications, and handles the removal, movement, installation, and upgrading of HHR machines. Additionally, the role includes maintaining an inventory of parts, proactively monitoring and tracking machine malfunctions, and recording test money usage and results. The technician will also notify supervisors of irregularities in guest play, handle guest concerns, and act in other capacities as needed. Maintaining confidentiality, protecting company assets, and adhering to all policies and regulations are crucial. The role requires knowledge of HHR machines, proper payouts, gaming floor glass, pay table information, vital game histories, and all Virginia Racing Commission rules and regulations. The primary goal is to ensure all HHR machines function properly and are available for guest play, while staying knowledgeable about gaming laws, racing regulations, and company policies to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
