This position is open only to Colorado state residents. The mission of the Colorado Department of Revenue (CDOR) is to become a trusted partner to every Coloradan, helping them navigate the complexities of government so they can thrive. Our core values of service, teamwork, accountability, integrity, and respect drive us. The Department’s vision is to empower businesses and individuals through quality customer service, innovation, and collaboration. We celebrate diversity and support an equitable and inclusive culture. We embrace our differences because we believe this brings innovation to our work. The Division of Gaming ensures that limited gaming is conducted honestly, fairly, and competitively, and is free from criminal and corrupt elements. This is achieved, in part, by ensuring that gaming taxes are properly reported and paid and that licensees comply with Gaming Rules, Regulations, and Internal Control Minimum Procedures. A typical day involves providing audit assistance to the Leader Auditor and Audit Manager to learn how to complete revenue audits and conduct all aspects of compliance audits of licensees. Assignments are structured and performed with the direction and assistance from others with the intent to train positions for a higher level. The position will begin to build portfolios for sound reasoning and judgment through resources of reference such as meeting with the Audit Manager or Chief Auditor.
