About The Position

This role involves assisting with various aspects of gameday operations, from pre-event setup to in-game support and post-event breakdown. The Gameday Operations Assistant will help ensure the smooth execution of events by managing setup, supporting game operations, and assisting with breakdown and inventory.

Requirements

Ability to assist with field/court setup.
Willingness to prepare press areas, credential tables, and hospitality zones.
Capability to set up scoreboards, clocks, and public address systems.
Ability to operate scoreboard, shot clock, or game clock under supervision.
Skills in monitoring crowd flow and assisting with gate entry and ticketing.
Customer service skills to serve as ushers/greeters.
Ability to coordinate with officials and staff.
Problem-solving skills for logistical issues.
Ability to assist with teardown and secure storage of equipment.
Willingness to help reset venue.
Ability to report inventory needs or equipment damage.

Responsibilities

Assist with field/court setup including signage, equipment, sponsor activations, and safety barriers.
Prepare press areas, credential tables, and hospitality zones.
Set up scoreboards, clocks, and public address systems.
Operate scoreboard, shot clock, or game clock under supervision.
Monitor crowd flow, assist with gate entry and ticketing.
Serve as ushers/greeters to welcome guests, provide directions, and answer basic event questions.
Coordinate with officials and staff to ensure timing and compliance accuracy.
Respond to logistical issues and assist with real-time problem solving.
Assist with teardown and secure storage of equipment.
Help reset venue for next event or practice.
Report inventory needs or equipment damage.
