About The Position

The Xfinity Mobile Arena is one of the world’s busiest arenas, home of the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia 76ers, Villanova University basketball, family shows and concerts. Since opening in 1996, the arena is the centerpiece of sports and entertainment in the greater Philadelphia region as well as prominently featured in the national spotlight. The 21,000-seat arena is a showcase arena for the company’s industry-leading qualities as an operator and an innovator in the live event experience. Comcast Spectacor is seeking positive and enthusiastic individuals to assist in the planning, coordination, and management of all Philadelphia Flyers home game activations and non-gameday events. The game night team positions will start in September and go through the entire season. This is a part-time seasonal position for Comcast Spectacor working directly with the Group Sales Department.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must be outgoing and willing to participate in promotions.
  • Candidates must be innovative, self-starter, independent, energetic, and organized with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to communicate and assemble large groups of people.
  • Available to work at least 75% of all Philadelphia Flyers home games.
  • Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Performs logistical duties needed to execute gameday promotions and assets for the group sales and service teams.
  • Assist with VIP hospitality areas, pregame concerts and speaking events, special ticket package redemption, postgame on-ice experiences
  • Be able to provide an energetic and welcoming experience for our guests.
  • Effectively assemble large groups of people & communicate effectively.
  • Be able to understand and retain knowledge of all products while running multiple events in one game.
  • Exhibit the ability to problem solve, adjust on the fly and present excellent customer service.
  • Available to execute dark day events and non-game day events.
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
