About The Position

CoinPoker is an innovative crypto-poker platform that uses blockchain technology to offer fast, secure, and transparent gameplay. With recent substantial investment, CoinPoker is expanding its team to support its growth and is hiring a Team Lead - Game Integrity & Fraud Prevention. This role will lead a team responsible for protecting the fairness, security, and integrity of the online gaming platform. It is a hands-on leadership role that combines people management, operational oversight, and investigative expertise to ensure fraud, abuse, cheating, and emerging threats are identified, investigated, and resolved to the highest standard, while continuously improving detection capabilities and team performance. The ideal candidate will have high integrity, sound judgement, a naturally investigative mindset, and thrive on solving complex problems. They should be detail-oriented, data-driven, highly organised, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to stay calm under pressure. Adaptability in a fast-paced environment and a passion for protecting fair play, customer trust, and platform integrity are essential.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Fraud Prevention, Game Integrity, Trust & Safety, Risk Operations, Cybersecurity, Financial Crime, or Investigations.
• Knowledge of fraud processes, tools, emulators, VMs, and HUDs, including their application and risk categorization.
• Experience in detecting RTAs Bot behaviours.
• Experience building combination logics to identify potential fraud proactively.
• Knowledge of high-risk device indicators, including rooted devices.
• Previous experience leading operational teams.
• Experience conducting complex behavioural investigations.
• Experience working with large datasets and analytical tools.
• Experience developing operational processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead or supervise investigations involving multi-accounting, account sharing, identity abuse, payment fraud, bonus abuse, bot activity, automated gameplay, exploitation of game mechanics, match manipulation, collusion between users, coordinated abuse networks, suspicious behavioural patterns, and abuse of promotions or platform features.
• Conduct investigations using multiple data sources, behavioural analysis, transaction history, gameplay telemetry, device intelligence, and internal tooling.
• Identify emerging fraud trends and new abuse methodologies.
• Recommend new detection rules and monitoring strategies.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to improve automated detection capabilities.
• Assist in developing risk scoring methodologies.
• Validate effectiveness of new controls after implementation.
• Partner with teams including Product, Engineering, Data Science, Customer Support, Compliance, Information Security, Payments, Legal, and Trust & Safety.
• Provide operational feedback that improves platform integrity and customer experience.
• Produce regular reporting covering investigation volumes, fraud trends, operational KPIs, detection performance, emerging threats, quality assurance findings, team productivity, and risk exposure.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Review existing investigation procedures.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Drive automation opportunities.
• Improve analyst workflows.
• Identify tooling enhancements.
• Support implementation of new technologies.
