Game Day Staff Assistant, Knights Hospitality
About The Position
Knights Hospitality staff at the University of Central Florida (UCF Athletics) provide customer service and logistical support in premium seating sections during football, men's basketball, and baseball game days, as well as affiliated special events. The role requires individuals who embody energy, positivity, teamwork, and a proactive commitment to creating memorable experiences for premium ticket holders, donors, and guests. Opportunities may extend to working major events like the NFL Pro Bowl Skills Challenge and Bowl Games, and supporting corporate/special events with the opening of the new Roth Tower.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Professional resume required
- As a staff member of UCF Athletics, the selected candidate will be a person of integrity and character who shares a commitment for customer service and knowing / complying with NCAA, Conference, and institutional rules as they apply to the UCF Athletics program.
Nice To Haves
- Previous customer service experience.
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork and communication (written/verbal) skills.
- Proactivity in high pressure situations is also preferred.
- Due to the nature/scope of Athletics and Athletics events, position may require work during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as the ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time and occasional travel.
Responsibilities
- Providing exemplary customer service as liaisons between guests, catering staff, maintenance staff, custodial staff, and Athletics personnel.
- Individual tasks may vary, but service will be a mix of event host, customer service, donor relations, greeting/ushering, wristbanding, maintaining integrity of premium area, etc.
- Actively engaged in all home football games.
- Opportunity to work UCF men’s basketball and baseball games, as well as additional affiliate events, as appropriate.
- Supporting high-profile events such as the NFL Pro Bowl Skills Challenge and Bowl Games.
- Supporting corporate/special events with the opening of the new Roth Tower.
