The Division of Human Services of Department of Behavioral Health and Recovery is seeking a Gambling Manager to plan, design and execute the Gambling Initiative Community Engagement Program for the Southern Region. In this role, the Gambling Manager will develop and implement policy for managing outreach for, but not limited to, the rural less populated areas of the state, to ensure outreach and assessment to population gaming establishments, sports betting, video gaming and outreach to casinos. In addition, serving as a working supervisor and developing budget proposals for the expansion of outreach and marketing and providing funding recommendations are also highlights of this dynamic position. As a liaison, participates in and coordinates the ongoing collaborative planning efforts among gambling disorder providers, community and governmental organizations and monitors the program effectiveness and performance for comprehensive continuum of care. Responsible for all facets of training for the Gambling Initiative Community Engagement Program as it relates to gambling disorder issues and policy to ensure comprehensive and uniform training. Speaks on behalf of the division at seminars on topics such as DHS policies concerning guidelines, networking and program development and serves as the interface between the public and the provider community towards the objectives of service integration.
