JOB SUMMARY The Gallery Programs Coordinator is a mission-focused, results-driven, and collaborative individual committed to developing, facilitating, and upholding unique programming within the museum’s galleries and workshop spaces that align with The DoSeum’s Signature Experience. Reporting to the Manager of Gallery Education, the successful candidate will bring an enthusiastic and playful personality to the museum’s audience, especially its young learners, be responsible for maintaining inventory of workshop equipment and materials, model and provide training on stellar programming for members of the Education team, and collaborate with the Manager of Gallery Education on unique content for weekly maker-based and art-related workshops, open studio programming, “Pop-Up” activities within galleries, quarterly “Big Day of Play” programs, and the museum’s Author’s Series. With support from the Manager of Gallery Programs and the Education leadership team, an additional responsibility will be the expansion of the gallery programs portfolio with the creation of regular STEM demonstrations. The Gallery Programs Coordinator will develop and facilitate programming that wows and excites DoSeum Guests. Reporting to the Manager of Gallery Education, this is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position eligible for benefits.
