About The Position

The Gallery Host (12-month contract) is responsible for the front-line operation and presentation of the Oakridge Park Presentation Centre. This role ensures a welcoming, organized, and professional environment for visitors, providing basic information and tours while supporting sales staff during busy periods. Hosts also play an important role in registering visitors, maintaining gallery operations, and directing both prospective clients and existing purchasers to the appropriate teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in hospitality, customer service, retail, or front-of-house roles preferred.
  • Comfortable interacting with the public and handling multiple inquiries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable and punctual, with flexibility for weekends and peak hours.

Responsibilities

  • Open and close the Presentation Centre as required.
  • Ensure the gallery is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Monitor general operations and support daily readiness of the space.
  • Welcome walk-in visitors and provide basic information about Oakridge Park.
  • Conduct general introductions or light tours when sales staff are occupied.
  • Register all visitors accurately and capture contact details for follow-up.
  • Conduct tours of the Oakridge Park Presentation Centre and shopping mall/show homes, using excellent presentation and interpersonal skills to represent a premium brand and customer experience.
  • Take down client details when Sales Managers or Sales Assistants are busy.
  • For existing purchasers visiting with questions related to deficiencies or concerns, direct them to the Customer Care team.
  • Support a calm, courteous, and professional visitor experience at all times.
