This is an on-call position requiring a High School diploma. While a college degree, supervisory experience, and gallery experience are preferred, the role emphasizes proficiency in Microsoft Office and business software. The ability to learn new systems quickly is essential. Experience in scheduling a large staff is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective interpersonal communication are crucial. Knowledge of security principles, fire prevention, job safety, and first aid is beneficial. The role may require acting as a supervisor, working flexible schedules including overtime, holidays, weekends, and evening events. Reliable and punctual attendance is mandatory. Duties include attending roll-call, participating in emergency procedure training, adhering to policies, communicating observations to supervisors, advising staff and visitors on policies, providing directions, patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a neat appearance and uniform, participating in drills and emergency responses, performing light custodial duties, and potentially lifting or carrying items. Overtime may be required, and other duties as assigned by a supervisor. Light computer use for email and schedules is necessary.
