The Gage Technician II is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on production measurement equipment. This role involves working from mechanical schematics, sketches, manuals, specifications, and instructions to perform mechanical tasks. The technician will work from work orders with minimal direction, handle emergency calls, and support Stellantis Production Way (SPW) cross-functional teams in maintenance-related problem-solving and daily activities. Key objectives include maintaining and improving gage uptime, supporting major gage or equipment modifications, and providing maintenance support for gage and process activities on production lines. The role also involves supporting SPW in updating and maintaining control of gage drawings and Work Instruction Sheets for PM and maintenance activities, as well as participating in the preparation of technical details and instructions for planned maintenance and TPM activities. The technician will also participate in creating procedures, ensuring conformance to ISO 9000, facilitating communication between departments, and identifying spare parts. Additionally, the role includes participating in supplier pre-launch activities such as gage R&R's and correlation studies.
