About The Position

The GAAP Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP-compliant financial statements and reports. This role ensures all reporting adheres to US GAAP and stays updated on emerging accounting, reporting, and disclosure requirements. The analyst will conduct detailed variance analysis on financial data, reconcile accounts, and explain discrepancies in financial performance. Additionally, the position involves strengthening and documenting internal controls over financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulations, and acting as a key liaison for internal and external auditors. The role also includes assisting with ad hoc financial reporting, system implementations, and technical accounting memos.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in preparing GAAP-compliant financial statements.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and emerging accounting, reporting, and disclosure requirements.
  • Experience with variance analysis and account reconciliation.
  • Understanding of internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Experience supporting internal and external audits.
  • Ability to assist with ad hoc financial reporting and technical accounting memos.
